The following is a list of campsites and access points from the Massachusetts border south to Long Island Sound. Click on the name of the site to learn more and to view it on a map. Campsites are generally open from May-October. Most campsites in this section require advanced reservations. Note the 85 mile gap in campsites between Turner's Falls and Cromwell, CT. With your help, we are working to close this gap.

Take-out at the developed state boat access in Barton Cove. From here it is a 3.5 mile portage around the dam to a steep put-in off of Popular Street.

Alternatively, those wishing to utilize the Power Company's free shuttle should take-out at the Barton Cove Campground/Boat Rental location just upstream.
