Bellows Falls Portage East: (1.5 miles) NH. Take out at Pine Street Boat Launch on the left bank, follow a small ramp next to an old brick building on the rivers edge. Follow signs for the portage to the North Walpole Portage Access south of the dam off New Hampshire Route 12.

Bellows Falls Portage West: (1.1 miles) VT/NH. Alternate portage route. Take out at Pine Street Boat Launch on the left bank, follow a small ramp next to an old brick building on the rivers edge. Cross CT River and canal via Bridge Street. Take left down Mill Street after crossing railroad tracks and follow down to Bellows Falls Historical Society River Access Point. Access will be on the left off Mill Street.
