I'm planning a small 3-4 day trip with friends this spring on the upper section of the CT river. We are looking at the Canaan to Maidstone section. Would white water IK's work on this section or should we opt for canoe or kayaks? Another way to ask the questions is: Is the water in this section moving well or is it fairly slack water that requires regular paddling? - Thanks!
