Bridget Macdonald

First Name:
Bridget
Bio:
My life in paddling began when I was a small tot, exploring water bodies in eastern Massachusetts with my family, including the Charles and Sudbury rivers, and saltmarshes on the Outer Cape, where I learned about the tides the hard way. As an adult, I have co-led canoe and kayak programs for the National Park Service, and have paddled stretches of the Delaware River. My boyfriend and I have been chipping away at the Connecticut River Paddlers Trail since 2015, and have less than 100 miles to go. In the midst of this quest, we learned that a new campsite in our hometown needed an adopter. One thing led to another, and we are now the caretakers of the Hatchery Brook campsite in Montague, Massachusetts!
