My family and friends call me Rick, and I've been paddling canoes on trips since I was 10 years old. Born in upstate NY, raised and attended college in the Burlington VT area, I've been living and paddling the eastern US for over 40 yrs. Some of my favorite trips were the Allagash, the New, historic paddle routes in the ADK's and Algonquin Park in Ontario. I hope to add the Connecticut and the Northern Forest canoe trail to my list of paddling adventures in the near future.
