Vermont Fish and Wildlife

The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department provides a broad range of services to the public - including the development and management of public river access areas across the state. Many of the launch points along the Connecticut River in Vermont are managed by this department. In addition, the Department is involved with wildlife management, fisheries management, law enforcement, search and rescue, threatened and endangered species monitoring and restoration, habitat conservation, and educational programs for hunters, young people and teachers.
