I've been paddling the Connecticut River for over 23 years. I have paddled, in navigable sections of Flatwater to Class II, the Third Connecticut Lake all the way down to Hanover. Now I take my family with pre-teens and teach them the historical and natural ways of living and caring about wildlife. I also own/operate Outdoor ESCAPES New Hampshire, LLC offering a variety of private custom guided adventures statewide all year, including paddling lessons and tours. Once or twice a year I may take a party down the Connecticut River. The most memorable trip was a group of private high school teachers from Connecticut whose school was at the mouth of the Connecticut River at Long Island Sound. They wanted to get oriented to the headwaters so they can take their future students to learn more about the river's natural environment and human geography.
