North Stratford, NH. Expect upstream rapids to be scratchy when below are flows 500 cfs.

Flow Guidance

In general, the river is navigable April-October. Above North Stratford, from July-September, expect to occasionally run aground in shallows or rocky areas (like below Lyman Falls), especially in loaded boats. At high water (spring run-off, April), expect cold, swift water, with strong eddylines in places.
