Connecticut River Conservancy
The Connecticut River Conservancy has been the river’s primary watchdog for over fifty years, advocating for the river’s health, so we can all enjoy it. For many years, their boating guide was a critical resource for recreational use of the river. The organization has long important trail partners. For example, through their leadership, the trail was expanded southward, and dam remnants at Lyman Falls and Guildhall were removed, making paddling safer for all.
