Hi there!
I am planning a trip with friends over labor day weekend and I am curious about how long it takes to paddle the 21 miles from River Highlands to Chapman Pond. We are trying to get a reservation at Hurd for our second night and break this epic canoe paddle up, but if we aren't able to do it, I would love to do the full trip in one day. Has anyone done this before?

Seven hours
With 3 mph current, I could float 21 miles in 7 hours.

Highlands to Chapman
I've never done this route but we recently went from North Stratford to Guildhall and averaged 20 minute miles. There were 2 kayaks and one canoe and this was our first trip on the CT.
