Take out river left. Follow timber access stairs up to McIndoes Falls Rd. Follow path across road down to a landing beach.

you can cross the bridge into VT and walk about 800' to Paul's Whistle Stop, turn south on vt5 and go last 100', you can get drinks, lotto tickets, ice cream, gas ect... also if you go about 100' north when you get to vt rt5 you come across the McIndoe Falls Inn. I plan on stopping at Paul's on my June 2017 250 mi. trip down the river.
