The Essex County NRCD offers a resource to landowners, farmers, schools and businesses through their efforts with water quality issues, agriculture, education and other community projects. It also is coordinating a regional effort to address invasive species. The District also hosts an annual paddle event which get dozens of participants out to explore the Connecticut River.
